What is a Frozen Griddle?

Well, we can't show you a picture of the stone, because it is black, flat and boring! UNLESS it has frozen custard on it! And cherries. And nuts. And brownies. The Frozen Griddle is a marble stone that is frozen by a special freezer unit underneath. After you order your favorite custard, it is then put on the stone and mixed with your favorite flavor and mixins.
Right before your eyes! By using the stone, ingredients like pecans, oreos and graham crackers are fresh and crunchy, not soggy from sitting in a bucket of ice cream all day.

What is Frozen Custard?

Frozen Custard is a gourmet ice cream that first originated in New York at the turn of the century. To understand the great taste of frozen custard, all one needs to do is read the label of ingredients: at least 10%

butterfat and 1.4% egg yolk. It is quickly frozen from liquid to a rich, smooth creamy texture. Ice crystals are one of the factors that determine the texture of all ice creams. Controlling the ice crystallization while making the custard and storage determines the final texture. The smaller the ice crystal, the smoother the texture. The average ice crystal size in typical ice cream is about 43.4um. The average ice crystal size of our custard is 27.5um. The result....very smooooooth. Our custard is thick and creamy, with very little air (overrun) - not whipped as in soft serve. It is all natural with no preservatives. All of this for only 200 calories per 5oz vanilla serving. Compare that to 365 calories in a piece of carrot cake.
